It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the superintendent of the New Summerfield Independent School District.

Since accepting the position as superintendent in July of 2006, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with some exceptional staff and members of the student body. In addition, I have had the pleasure to visit with many kind and supportive community members.

As superintendent, I accept the academic and financial challenges that are associated with the position.  I will be committed to working with and communicating to the NSISD Board of Trustees the most current educational updates and district needs to help them develop and set policies that will help move our district forward.

I would like to express to all staff and community members that you each play a very important and vital role in not only the success of our students education but the success of our community. Therefore, I encourage each of you to take advantage of the available opportunities to become involved with your school and help make it the best school district in Texas.

As a district, we will continually be striving to improve the quality of education that our students receive. Through such means as on-going curriculum planning, broader course selections, technology programs, teacher/staff training, employment policies, facilities upkeep/upgrades, and responsible fiscal management.
